The Great Expansion, also known as The Mass Production of Hell Crater was large turning point in Soul Nation Europe's history during the Third World War in which the Continent began a Continental's wide mass production of Hell Crater-Class Fortress, following the first and previous one that got destroyed during the Gorgelous Theater. Production of the project began immediately after the completion and testing of the first Hell Crater, and were build widely across Europe.
However production of Hell Crater's Expansion were delayed following the destruction of the first Hell Crater during the Gorgelous Theater in 2025, forcing the Continetal's to temporarly abandon the Project and focus more on the Island.
Production was shifted once again during the American Theater's downfall, and resumed until 2029.
According to the Continental's a grand total of about 22 Hell Crater-Class Fortress's were planned to be constructed, but the War shifted back to Europe in the the final year of World War III In 2029, in which all Mass production was abandoned, and only half of the amount of Fortress's were complete, in the last 5 years, only 15 Stonehenge class Fortress were completed, 10 in France, 2 in Italy, 1 in Eastern Europe and another 2 In Northern Germany.
After the War in 2029, the Hell Crater Project was officially shelved by 2030, but all 15 fortress's that were constructed during the war remained active, and were instead used to shoot down Asteroids, these final Hell Crater-Class fortress's would remain Europe's destructive weapon until the Galactic War in 2286, when these fortress were finally silenced and brought down.
No other Hell Crater-class Fortress was constructed after the Invasion of Europe, or even during the Universal Death Conflict a century after, revealing that the entire Hell Crater Project has now been put to rest after 261 years.
