The Bora troop carrier, otherwise known as the Raider or BRS. TC, is a Universal Generation troop transport used primarily to deploy ground units and equipment swiftly and efficiently to the battlefield, while providing suppressive fire for Universal Generation forces, on the ground.
Design[]
The Raider Drop ship is the rough equivalent of the Valor Dropship in terms of function and performance, serving as a dedicated troop transport and gunship. The Raider sports heavier armor and a deadlier arsenal compared to its lightly armed cousin, the Lars Dropship, consisting of up to three defensive weapons that offer 360-degree defensive and offensive capabilities, and is capable of maneuvering effectively in all atmospheric conditions, including space.
The Raider's crew consists of a pilot, a co-pilot, a navigator, and an operations officer in charge of the defensive laser cannons. The Raider can carry up to thirty-forty five passengers inside its troop bay. Troops are deployed from the ventral doors on either side of the troop bay. Like the Lars dropship, the Raider is also capable of carrying vehicles such as Rammers, Strykers, and Rudder 1's, as well as essential equipment such as Deployable lookout towers, and Universal Generation supply cases using the four miniature orbital cable lines mounted beneath it.
The Raider has several weapon configurations that the gunship is able to be outfitted with it. It consists, of 2 Turrets located on both, the left and right side, of the cockpit, along with two MG.42's, located on both sides of the Passenger bays. The Raiders are also known to possess powerful search lights, in which are located in the wings. Raiders used these during night patrols, in which they can spot any flesh figure and annihilate it before it gets away.
Combat[]
The role of the Raider is to transport Universal Generation troops and vehicles into a combat zone with speed and efficiency while providing covering fire for disembarking units. Raiders were seen transporting units throughout the Universal Generation's invasion of the Organic Universe, while at the same time conducted several patrol missions on Universal Generation held worlds along side the Helos, in a bold attempt to seek out and any known Organic life form that was in hiding so they could be terminated.
The Raider had become a great hindrance to the U.E.A forces during those conflict as they attempted to repel the Universal Generation invaders.
Their use back in Hora, across Ancient Borax Confederacy abandon worlds was also particularly devastating, especially to units which were not equipped with anti-vehicle weapons.
